I've got a 3rd gen. 15gb iPod which was formerly about half full. I had been using it on my WinXP notebook with no problem. I was able to copy songs to and from iTunes without a hitch. I just bought a new iBook and downloaded an album from iTunes. I couldn't copy it to my iPod. I hooked my iPod to my PC and it said that there were about 7.5GB used, but it wouldn't show any songs on it (couldn't see the songs in iTunes or on the iPod). I tried copying music from my PC to my iPod and it said it was copying, but when I'd look at my iPod, there was still no music on it.

Sooo... I ran the iPod restore on my Mac, and still no luck. I read the FAQ about converting a Windows iPod to a Mac and downloaded the recommended software from the Apple site, ran it, and still no dice. Appropriately enough, the album that messed everything up was The Killers.

Any suggestions?!
