Somebody gave me an i-pod...but not the CD it comes with...
A friend of mine sold me his i-pod and gave me all the accesories, but not the CD that the i-pod comes with. I'm getting a new PC for Christmas and I know it's compatible with the i-pod...but can I just plug it in and start using it or do I need that CD to officially install the ipod into my computer?
If so, what should I do?

you can download everything you need from apple's website: both itunes and the ipod software.
also, its an iPod, not an i-pod :)
and welcome to the lounge, buddy

Awesome!!! Thanks!!! That saves me a whole lot of worrying!
I keep forgetting it's "ipod" for some reason I always want to put the hyphen!
