skips over song

i have two songs on my iPod that when i play them, the iPod just skips to the next song. if i click back, it shows the title of the song and the album and such, but before it plays, it goes to the next song. if i click back 3 times, it will play... does anyone know what i'm talking about... and how can i fix it?

Skipping songs happens for a variety of reasons and sometimes depends on what format they are in. The usual first suspect is the "tags". If you are using iTunes, use "get info" on the songs and eliminate everything outside of name, artist, album, track, and disc... then put them back onto the Ipod, replacing the two there now.miketex at 2007-11-15 13:45:43 >
