What is this owner to do? :-)
I recently picked up a 4gen iPod after months of deliberation and have arrived at a perdicament.
After searching through the forums endlessly, I've got answers on screen burns (or lack there of lol) and case design, but one problem has eluded me...what is the best, or most efficient method of storage for users who do not use the pod frequently? (thesis statement haha)
My iPod is mostly for traveling, and is likely to spend a lot of time on the dock charging. All of the FAQ's I've read say this is ok, but I am curious if it'd be better to let it discharge a little before letting it sit on the dock for a while. The most it'd have between me sitting down and using it for a few hours is 7-10 days.
I ask because I'm about to finish my holiday travels and won't be using the iPod as much as before. Just want to make sure I get the most out of the battery!
If only I'd been as power conscious with former laptop batteries :(
Thanks so much for the help, and hope this isn't a matter which has been beaten to death, burned, and marinated by other users :D
