my ipod has a mind of its own. Help me!
Ok, i got my ipod in like september, it's a 4G 40 gig ipod. I haven't done anything extreme with it, I haven't dropped it or anything like that, so it should still be working properly. Lately though, I've been having problems with it. Sometimes it will just randomly stop responding. I can't scroll up and down, pressing buttons doesn't do anything, it is completely unresponsive. Then, when it finally decides to listen again it does some random stuff, so then i have to find what i was doing again. Has anybody else ever had this problem, or heard anything about this? This is really annoying, and i don't know what to do.
pls help me.

also, i just got an itrip, and it doesn't seem to be helping the problem. with the itrip, the ipod like randomly turns on and off too.

No seriously! Call Dell and ask for the gingerbread cookies on page 29. It's fun...
About your iPod, I have a friend with the same problem. Sounds like it's still in the warranty, so you should be able to get it replaced.
Oh yeah, the "random stuff" is what you were doing. When it freezes up, click the button 3 times and see where you end up. At least that's what goes on with my friends iPod..
