Computer Hookup

I just got an ipod off a friend but i didn't get any of the hookups for it. What will i need to get running

Does it have a "dock" connector on the bottom of it? If so then you need either a Firewire or USB 2 dock lead, both of which are available from:

http://www.apple.com/store/

Or you could look on eBay etc for one.

You will also need the iTunes software installed on your PC. Get it from:

http://www.apple.com/itunes/

Then you can just plug it in and the computer should recognise it.

wait did you buy it new?? or did you just buy the ipod by its self because it comes with the "hook ups " and you donet need to buy anything
