Computer is dead...need to transfer music

Help! :eek: I have a Sony laptop that is now just a piece of plastic with a screen since it wont start up. But I want to tranfer my music to another computer since my other will probably need to be formatted. Can some one tell me how to do this please :(

Transfer the music from your dead laptop to another computer? You'll probably need to physically remove the hard drive in order to do that.Transfer the music from your iPod onto another computer? Easy, read this iPod 201 article for starters:
