SB 1394 Fire Wire - Problems?

Hello there, I've been looking at getting a Ipod, and im pretty keen. Only thing though is that I have a Sound Blaster Audigy card, with the 1394 connection. Will this work ok with my Ipod to be? My computer is pretty old and it only has USB1 so that wont do as an alternitave. Any help and comments are most welcome

Fom everything I've read and seen, the SB1394 is not so much an issue anymore. I know some people who use it without a problem. In forums, your gonna hear from people who have problems A LOT more often than people who have it working without a hitch, since there isnt anything to complain about.
