"Safe to disconnect" no longer shows?

hey there, i plugged my ipod into my computer and it says do not disconnect as usual, but when i eject it from itunes, safe to disconnect never shows up anymore, i dont understand it, anyone experienced this or knows how to fix it?

The latest software update changed the behavior. You'll see "do not disconnect" until the synch is done, then iTunes and the mini just go back to where they were. Nothing's wrong.
