Just yesterday I picked up my iPod (20gig 2g) and noticed it was off so tried switching it on, nothing happened. I then tried resetting it by pressing play/menu, all I heard was a slight click but still nothing. So I plugged it in to the charger and still nothing. The screen is just blank, resetting it makes a tiny click noise and its out of warranty...so, should I smash it up with a hammer and buy an iPod mini? (do iPod mini's still have the headphone connection problems?).
