Problem playing a U2 Tune bought from iTMS
I have contacted the iTunes support several times upon this problem, but we are running in circles and coming to no conclusion so far.
I am referring to a purchased song called
The Complete U2 - Corpse (These Chains Are Way Too Long)
The tune seems to play fine in iTunes, but if you listen closely, you'll notice a glitch at about 34 to 35 seconds of the song, but the song will keep playing in iTunes. On a 4G iPod U2 (20GB) however you'll hear the glitch and the song skips immediately (the next song will be played). The iTunes support allowed me to download the song a second time, which I did. But the problem remains. I have a 2G iPod 20GB, too, which acts like iTunes: you'll hear the glitch, but it keeps playing the song. In another forum a kind member volunteered and bought the song. He has the same problem on his 4G 20GB iPod (non U2 edition).
The last post from the iTMS support was from December, 8th. They promised to hear into it and check the song for faults and get back to me within 72 hours. Nothing happened so far. I contacted them again today.
So now my question to the ones who bought the complete U2 as well (or at least this song): Can you confirm my experience?
