(I apologize if this has already been discussed, I did a search and couldn't find anything).

I work for a School of Music at a university. We have created a database of theory examples, etc., that I would like to be able to allow students to download to their iPods. For instance, I would like to have separate playlists for major thirds, minor scales, etc.

Is there a way to create a downloadable playlist for distribution? I know how to create a playlist within iTunes, but isn't that limited to my computer?

Is there another program that I could use that would be directly compatible with iPods? Any other suggestions?
