FM Modulator Wont Work in car

Hello all-

We just purchased a 20G I Pod and uploaded all our tunes-

My wife and i jumped into our 2001 Ford mustang with the Mach 460 Audio system, tuned the radio to 87.9, and cranked up the STATIC!

Nothing, Nada, Not even some white noise. Bring the I pod and Modulator in the house, works good on the home stereo - aside from needing to be right next to the reciever...

Any ideas on why this is? What can I Do? We brought this so we WOULDNT have to put an aftermarket radio in the Car to listen to MP3's.

Thanks

Jeff

Try a different frequency. Also try to keep the iPod close to your car's aerial, my iTrip works best on a mid frequency (95 ish) and as close as possible to the aerial.

Thank you for the reply- is that true that the mid-frequencies are stronger?
