HELP HELP HELP! PLease HELP! Huge investment lost if I cant fix it!

I have a 10 gig 3rd gen. I pod. I loved it at first, but now this horrible thing has happened. When I try to play a song, it goes through my playlist w/o even playing one second of any song. When it gets to the bottom of the list, it goes to the main menu. I spent a lot of money on this baby and I don't have the box to return it. (Plus I don't think I could anyway)

Can someone please help me fix this problem!!!

I would suggest a complete restore of the iPod, so make sure you have all your music and things off it before doing it. Other than that, try reseting it a few times.

If that don't work, try searching the forum for similar problems.

You can try these troubleshooting tips first ( http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61018).

If it doesn't help then connect it to the updater and do a 'restore'. This will set it back to factory settings and correct any iPod disk problems.
