New iPod advice?

Hi everyone! I am gonna go ahead and assume this is a good place to, obviously, get some new iPod advice. I was looking to get the 300 dollar, I think it was 20GB one straight from the official store. However I'd like to know if you all can think of any way I could get one cheaper, or for a relative price?

Well, if you are a student, there's that discount.. Other than that, Amazon generally has one of the lowest prices.. There aren't too many sales

No, all the retailers stock the iPod for exactly the same price, so you will not find it cheaper anywhere.

So, go ahead and buy it from the official store, you'll get good service and be wowed by all the products on display :)

I'm looking for one on eBay, it may be slightly used, but it should still work I imagine. I've heard horror stories about the batteries though, is there anything that can be done to get around that?

Maybe try using a coupon at some store somehow?
