I'm really really sick of iPods.

My first 4th gen 40 gig I got the day it came out locked up a month later beyond return and it was sent off and kindly replaced with a new one.

Now a few months later since then (about 2 or so) the iPod they REPLACED IT WITH has locked up. I'm really getting sick of this. For the price you pay for these things you expect them to work.

I'll describe what's happening.

This time it hasn't locked up at the menu, it's locked up at the "Do not disconnect" screen. It says it is on hold when it isn't (like the first time) and won't respond to touch. The computer doesn't recognise it. It can't be reset in any way shape or form.

I'm thinking hell maybe I should just let it run out of juice then see if it fixes itself up when I recharge, any thoughts?

Oh yeah, and the backlight is stuck on aswell so running out of power shouldn't take too long. The battery is also full at this time of posting.. or maybe it isn't, I wouldn't know the battery icon is stuck aswell.

I hope I can get my cash back for this useless paperweight.
