I don't have a firewire port in my Dell PC but obviously, I still need to be able to hook up my iPod. So, it is possible to hook up the iPod on a PC without buying anything else right?

This would be the case with the 1Gs, 2Gs, and 3Gs. Ever since the mini was released, all iPods have shipped with a USB cable and a FireWire cable.

First Gen and Seccond gen had Firewire to Firewire ports, and the third gen had Dock connector, but you could buy a USB for the third gen.Tomo_kun at 2007-11-15 13:50:58 >
