Disk mode
its a 20 gig 3rd gen.

When i go into disk mode, the screen displays with the ok to disconnect screen and the battery meter is chargeing, even though its not connected...uh..HELP!!!!!!

When you put it into forced disk mode (reset (menu+play) then hold fastforward/rewind) then the iPod displays the "OK to Disconnect" message when it's not plugged into the computer, this is normal. If you want to use your iPod as a disk and an iPod at the same time then you should go into the iPods preferences in iTunes and check the "Disk Mode" box, and this will enable you to use it as a disk and sync it at the same time.TOM
