Music DVDs

Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I have several music DVDs of concerts that I'd love to be able to put on my iPod when I get it in a few weeks...is this possible?!? If so how do I go about getting the audio from the DVD to my iPod? I have a DVD drive on my computer and run Windows XP Home edition.

Thanks for your help guys.

Well if it's a DVD with video (eg. Rush in Rio, Pearl Jam Live at the Garden) then you'd have to use something like ImToo DVD audio ripper. I'd use the same thing for pure audio DVDs (like the Foo Fighters One by One DVD or even the new Oasis Definetly Maybe DVD) the same program should work. It'll export the audio tracks from the DVD into Mp3 or WMA or WAV, whatever. It just will take a while.
