Question on transfering songs

Well, I suppose that depends on what you'll have available to read your media with. If the computer you're visiting is going to have a DVD-ROM, then I suppose you could burn your entire collection onto DVD.

However, I'm not sure that iTunes will rip from a DVD Audio disc, if that's what you're asking.

If you want to carry audio with you, I'd recommend burning audio CDs. If you simply want to take your entire MP3 collection to load into your iPod, there's really no difference between burning your MP3s onto multiple CDs, or a single DVD (as long as the computer that you'll have on the other end has a DVD ROM, of course).

you could rip all the cd's onto your home computer w/ itunes, then copy the albums to a dvd and bring the dvd w/ you. then all you'll have to do is copy the dvd contents to the visiting computer and import them into itunes and put them on your ipod.

i want to take my music with me, because ill be gone for a week after xmas, and i wanna use my ipod. so i was wondering what would be better...burn my music to a DVD...or burn them to like 30 CDs? if i do burn them to a DVD, will iTunes read the DVD and could i get the music from it to my iPod?

Burn like your 10-20 Favorite cd's or something because itunes is great, i had a few burned random cd's and itunes got all the info on each song. Enjoy your pod. :D
