40 Gb iPod locked up

I have a 1 month old 4th Gen iPod that is completely locked up on a Play screen. It won't reset or mouunt in XP. As a matter of fact, the PC won't boot with it plugged up. Any ideas?

I plugged my iPod into USB2 cable and waited it out. After a few hours the battery got low enough (it was very low to begin with) that the unit must have rteset itself or shut down whatever was locking it up because all of the sudden it connected with the PC and everything was fine.DavidEaton at 2007-11-15 13:46:03 >
