3G ipod, power drains when it isnt in use

I left my ipod on the bedstand, and I left it there for a day. I turned the ipod off the day before, when I got to it, the ipod was out of battery. I charged it for about 6-8 hours now, when I turn it on, it only shows that it has a little power on the battery meter.

You can't always go by the meter display on a 3G iPod. Usually after playing it for a while, the meter will change and display a full charge again. Unless there really is a problem.kschonha at 2007-11-15 13:46:04 >

You also can't ever "turn the iPod off" You can put it into deep sleep mode but thats it. The iPod will always use some battery. This is why you need to charge it whenever you can.Blue_Dawg at 2007-11-15 13:47:04 >
