Software CD Version

I'm about to sell my ipod on ebay UK, but i cant find the software cd that came with it. Is this a big deal? I remember when i used the cd that it updated the ipod software and installed itunes, but now it would install an early version of itunes and the ipod software, so would the person, who would eventually bid for it, would need the cd?

Everyone always likes to have original packaging and software when they buy used things. However, all the essentials are available on apple.com, so technically I don't think they really need the CD. The iPod updater and iTunes are both available to download (newest versions only) and those are most essential. The iPod updater and iTunes are both available to download (newest versions only) and those are most essential Thats all someone will need to set up your iPod, install iTunes/ connect the iPod and run the updater if required. Be nice and include them on a CD-R along with your sale if you can. State this on your listing as a selling point and it'll help your sale along a bit.
