How do I delete songs on iPod mini?

I was adding songs to my iPod and I had some checked in my music library that I didn't want. Can anyone tell me how to delete these please?

In manuel mode, on ipod side(not iTune), first delete from playlist, then delete from library, the sony will permanantly be removed, check info from ABOUT, u will find u have less songs and more free space, remember: delete from playlist won't delete the songiidude at 2007-11-15 13:47:10 >
