ipod Click Wheel different color
Hi guys
I am planning to buy the U2 ipod and this will be my first ipod so with this purchase i'm looking forward to being a member of this forum :)
Onto My question :
A while back i was about to buy the 40gig ipod but then didnt buy it bcos of the upcoming u2 ipod i hadnt seen pictures of it yet n as i live in Melbourne Australia new products take a lil longer to reach us downunder :D
After seeing the U2 ipod i think i may wanna chnage the red click wheel, tht it comes with, to another color ... so i want to know if this is possible ?
I have checked out the glow in dark stickers but dont know how a white sticker would look on the black surface ( personally i think it may not look that good)
So if any1 knows where i can buy colored stickers please do let me know
Also if there r any U2 ipod users maybe you can tell me what you think of the ipod and post some pics of your ipod ?

thnx for replying mate
i did a search sometime back n came across stickers with different colors tht u can stick on the click wheel these dont hinder the functionality and are just for aesthic value
n so there is no confusion i'm reffering to stickers which can be removed anytime with no residue or markings
i'm not thinking of physically removing the click wheel n replacing it with another
The original site seems to be down or something bcos i cannot find anything on google or on the forum pertaining to these kind of stickers

Well i'm sure i saw that kind of wheel stickers earlier , it's just tht this was around 4 months back so i cant remember the website or anything i'll just cross my fingers n hope one of the other members knws something about this

if you dont like the color you might as well get a regular iPod and some different color iskins. those donuts are kinda cool, i hadnt seen them before but $10 each is kinda pricey

i've seen the iskin evo2 and the black ones look good but however good they are they cant compare to the original black finish on the U2 ipod tht is just fully sick ! :D
the glow in the dark ones come with a screen protector too n include shipping so 10 bucks is like an all inclusive amount which should be alright !
i cant for the life of me remember what i searched for and came up with those click wheels stickers as they dont show up in any searchs i do now ! :mad:
anyways i'll keep looking :)
