Differences in functionality between 3G and 4G?
I searched, but because "3g" and "4g" are too short to use in the search field, the term "differences" brought up a lot of nothing.
Please don't link me to the FAQ page on this site, I'm aware of the "main" differences between the 3G and the 4G, but I'm after what the differences in functionality are, besides the clickwheel, i.e. menu, functions, playlists, sorting, all that stuff and more. I just want to see if the 4G has certain features that I'm already finding my 3G lacks. Thanks :)

I never owned a 3G but from what i think, the main thing is the click wheel, and the option to shuffle songs directly from the main menu.

As well as 8 hour battery life with the 3g, 12 hour with the 4g. With the 4G you have the option to hear the click noise through the ipod, the headphones, or both(3g is only through the ipod unit). The 4g is also about a milimeter thinner than the 3g(when comparing a 4g 20gb to a 3g 10/15/20gb or a 4g 40gb to a 3g 30/40gb). I have a 3g and the battery life isn't too great, my last test was a little over 6 hours, I also prefer the 4g's click wheel(sometimes my 3g buttons can be unresponsive)

^^ yeah, I think I had read before about all the things Enigma mentioned, but thanks nonetheless. So shuffle control, how exactly does that work? Is there any difference in playlist control, or is on-the-go basically the same and only kind of playlist you can create without a computer and iTunes or a similar program? For instance, I wish I could remove a single song from my on-the-go list, instead of having to clear the entire list, things like that.
