Right after loading the iPod Updater 2004-11-15 , my 40GB ipod HD starterd sipining and it never really stoped doing so. It has gone through the battery in something like 40 min.

Is this a known problem? any suggestions?

The case is getting overheated now. It must be some 4 hours now that it will not stop spinning! HELP!
