music dissappears (but can be refound if ipod is mounted and disconnected) 4G
I use a windows formatted ipod photo 60gb, and (potentially dangerously/out of spec) mount it using USB 1.1 on my pc laptop and dock it on a Mac at work.
I couldn't find a reference here to the problems I encounter, and no doubt it is caused by the above mentioned way I operate but I thought I'd post in case anybody else is having the same troubles, or if any can offer advice.
The issue:
Sometimes I eject my pod safely, and all my music has dissappeared. When I plug it back into my computers and disconnect it while the "do not disconnect" icon is still flashing and before it has mounted, the songs are back!
Anyone? ;)
