Custom Paint Job

I hope this inspires people to be a little creative when it comes to that shiney metal back...

Polyurethane or some clear epoxy should work.

I'm hoping you did adequate surface prepration (etched the stainless surface) otherwise that nice paint job will flake off within a month.

used spray paint for the background, paint markers for the notes and the guitar, definately put a top coat on to seal everything. its been almost 2 months since i did it and looks the same as the first day! no scratches!

Very cool. You have an obvious artistic ability. You should set up a website and customize peoples' iPod backs for a fee! You could really rake in the dough. I know I'd get mine done.
