This has probably been answered a thousand times by people on here, but surely once more won't hurt.I have just received (late) a 4th Gen iPod for my girlfriends birthday which is on Sunday. She is due back in about 2 hours and I need serious help:

I bought the iPod and a USB 2 card for my ageing PC via a website, not realising my copy of Windows (Me) does not support the 20Gb 4th Gen iPod (whoops).

Could somebody talk me through step by step how to set up the iPod ready for Windows Me and which alternatives I have to iTunes??
