Can the scroll wheel be reversed?

Hello all,

I just got an 40GB IPOD and have a small dillema. For me, the scroll wheel seems backwards. I have big hands and I'm right handed and when I hold the IPOD my thumb is on the left side of the scroll wheel. When I scroll the left side up, the menu goes down, and vice versa. It's hard for me to keep my thumb on the right side of the ipod and have a good grip at the same time - this also causes finger cramps :-\

There must be some way to reverse the way the touch wheel scrolls.

Thanks in advance,

-Jason

This is very true.

Honestly, its one of those design things that Steve Jobs had an influence in.

Just like the iPod is louder than most DAP's because of his hearing problems.

I agree with you completely. I had a Zen Nomad 40GB MP3 player before this and I returned it for store credit and put it toward the ipod. I just don't like how you can't change the direction in the settings. it probably isn't hard to implement either and im sure someone thought about it in the development stage. i guess jobs was 'thinking different' when he designed it :-\
