is dock worth it
Anyone with a dock, is this true and should I buy one? Also are you cable to connect your dock via usb?

Today I visited my local circuitcity to pick up a dock for my mini, but the man working there informed me that the dock whould scratch my mini and is a waste of money.
Anyone with a dock, is this true and should I buy one? Also are you cable to connect your dock via usb?

No its not true, and yea it actually is worth it.The line out, and a convient holding device makes it worthwhile.

it has the same dock connector as the iPod has on the bottom, so yes you just hook up your USB dock cable into the back of the dock and you're good to goMatrixsjd at 2007-11-15 15:49:12 >

I got one today and, yea, I'd say it's worth it. It's got a nice weight to it and sits solidly on my desk. I could possibly see myself using this in my car too as the weight of the base should hold the mini steady. It's also worth it for the proper line-out. I just tried connecting my PC peakers directly into the stand and the sound is allot better than through my PC with iTunes.
