Question?

Im getting a ipod mini for x-mas :) and i asked this before, if i could get the music from my cds on to it, and someone said No unless you convert it, but my question is on the Apple site it says this:

iTunes 4 lets you organize your music on your Mac or Windows PC and automatically transfer it to iPod mini. Whether you?ve ripped your CD collection to mp3.

So dose that mean that i can use my cds and put some songs from them on it?

Thanks alot everyone. This means alot to me : o )

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Welcome to the Lounge.

iTunes is a very simple program to import CD's. First thing to do is to set Import Preferences under the Main Pref. Menu. Change file format and bitrate. Next is to insert the CD, load up iTunes. THen you click the CD in the left side of the browser (it should auto-load) and then click import. THey will be automatically be imported into your library. Easy as cake.

It is a free download, and it will come on a cd with your iPod mini also.

it doesn't cost anything to rip songs from a CD to iTunes, but it's $0.99 to download a song of the iTMS (iTunes Music Store)...
