Convince me to get mini or zen micro
Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. I am becoming increasingly worried about the iPod mini's static issue. A lot of users have run into this problem a while back, but does anyone know if the problem has been fixed? (I know Apple got a new mini macufaturer back in September)
I like the fact that ipod has 30mW of power, which is good for the car and stereo, I also like the aluminum finish on the mini
After reading about both units, some say the Zen Micros volume is weak, can anyone provide a direct comparison of both the units due to mW difference (30 to 7).
The other thing i am worried about for the ipod mini, is the replaceable battery...8 hours is plenty for me in battery time...but I am worried the battery will choke on me in 8 months...
Can anyone convince me of either one, my main concerns are volume and durability....i know i can change sq with different headphones, and from what ive read and heard, both the units have pros and cons in sq

Whatever. I played with a Micro at the store, and it's awesome. I really like the size, and form factor of it.
As far as the volume, I'm don't know about that, so I can't comment on it.
Besides everything else, if I had to buy either a Micro or a Mini right now, I'd definitely choose the Micro, except, my whole library is AAC. Even with that problem, I'd probably still buy a Micro.
I love the size, and the shape. They look great.
It may be an imitation, but it's hardly pale.

mini, looks sleek, if you get a static problem they'll fix it for you, and also, easiest to use.

finally decided on ipod mini cuz of the internal amp, 30mw vs 7mw, ppl say the micro is too quiet through a stereo and through the car === major turn off for me so silver mini for me...also what are some pimp accesories?
