What do you want to see most? 5thG iPod or 5GB iPod Mini?

I'm waiting to pull trigger on a new Mini purchase, but I'm holding off hoping for a 5GB version to come soon. I know some of you are similarly hoping for a 5G iPod. So, which one are you waiting for? Let's hear it.

I'm waiting most expectantly for the 5G iPod. a New mini, the 2G, will be cool as well, but only if it has some proper changes and new features on it, not just a new 5GB hard drive.-James at 2007-11-15 14:49:35 >

Absolutely positively the 5G - I might actually replace mine if the 5G has some really nice new features.Also, I'd have to get one that fits in teh dock in the inMotion speakers

5G iPod most definitely...the iPod minis always seem to be a rip off to me. why would you pay $250 for 4GB when you can pay an extra $50 and get 5 times the memory.

I think an ipod 5g would be betterbecause i do not want my ipod mini to becum outdated
i can aford to buy a new one.

4GB is looking a little outdated, By next year it will have got to the stage where you can get 4GB flash players for the same price. Partly it depends on demand, the mini is selling very very well in which case a minor storage upgrade to the 5GB version isn't really needed. What's more likely IMO is a release around the autumn for a 8GB mini, doubling the storage capcity and also increasing the battery life.As for the 5G I don't really see what they could do to improve matters that much. A longer battery is really the only thing I would want and 20GB is more than enough for me (I wish I'd bought a 20GB 4G instead of the 40GB). A colour screen might be good but only as long as it wouldn't impact the battery life that much. Personally I wouldn't need video or photo options just music. A thinner or smaller form factor would be nice as well.

Well if I had to chooseI will say 5G iPod.
If the 5GB iPod Mini, had a Colour screen then I would say 5GB iPod Mini
