The iPod story
I got 50.00 from my aunt in New Mexico and I went with it. I was going to get a keyboard but I saw this Creative MuVo 64MB MP3 player. It was a plane jane. No screen, no fancy features. Just a USB Thumb drive with a built in MP3 player. After arguing with my parents how they said I wouldn't use it I finally got it. This would be the test if an iPod was worth the $$ for me to use it.
I have hated iPods when the 3G's were out. I thought they were ugly with the 4 buttons and wheel. That is until the 4G & iPod mini came along. Anway...
It was in August-September I started having mac fads. I wanted an eMac so bad before I realized I wouldn't get one. I then started to have iPod fads. This iPod fad would soon help me claim an iPod. I wanted an iPod so badly that my whole life consisted of going on Apples site and other iPod related sites.
So it's November and my iPod looks good. Especially Nov. 26th when Apple had there sale. iPod minis were on sale for about $228. Around 10:00PM we went to Circuit city to see if they could beat Apples sale and they did by a few bucks. Whadda Know, I got a silver mini.
Hugging & kissing the box knowing I own a piece of history and something great. Yesterday I opened the box to get a sneak peak of the mini and to make sure it wasn't broken after me hugging it. It didn't look broken. It had it's Don't Steal Music sticker on it's screen with the mini wrapped in plastic. It looked so adorable and in 9 days from today it was going to be charged and working.
I know, I am very obsessed over the iPod. :)
