New iPod owner finally!
well i've been waiting forever to get an iPod and tonight was the night i brought home that perfectly cube shaped box, i just sat here drooling over it for about 30 minutes before my significant other came by and said, "aren't you going to take the shrink wrap off atleast?" least to say i was quite embarrassed and started opening this little 'puzzle' box, quite a neat experiance opening up my first ipod.
i've got it on charge at the moment via firewire, i got the white 4G 20GB, wish i had the coin to have purchased the 40GB or even an iPhoto but well i am happy enough with this one.
well i suppose i'll go browse for some accessories, i've been thinking of a case but haven't a clue what would be nice.

First off congrats on your purchase, and congrats on choosing the Lounge.
As for a case, take a look at the review section here, as it has reviews of all kinds of cases, from the very cheap to the ultra-elite. There are many options to choose from, but everyone has their own tastes. However, I trust the reviews here as they are impartial and critical.

another question i have is, whats the easiest way to update songs on my ipod?
i mean in iTunes i've got like 3 different spellings of Ayumi Hamasaki (Ayumi Hamazaki and Ayumi hamasaki) i went ahead and resynched the ipod and updated the names of the artist to be correct it said it was updating the 30 tracks i edited but once i went back into the ipod's artists menu i see that nothing changed... do i have to delete the entire ipod and basically retransfer? or is there an easier way?

not to sure about the sync thing but i just normally change the names and then re sync
i find the iskin is a very good case
well anyway just make sure you get a case as they get scrached quite easily!

well mine is named Ipod, i just went for the simple name.
