MORNING!!!! hiya people.. i am currently putting a book together of peoples various idea of design and art... To fully explain would be boring so here it is in short

I want to ask what you think visually the difference or similarities between art and design (Humorous, ironic, or serious. any connection to YOU!) For example one that was sent was a picture of McDonalds golden arcs for design and for the art it was the picture of the last supper. would love to hear your thoughts or even see your ideas... if you want to help and participate please either show links to your ideas or please feel free to email me

Is the similarity that if you eat at McDonalds it could be your last supper?

Or is it comparing the highest art humanity has produced with the lowest form?

Perhaps it is a postmodern Marxist/Lacanian view that equates McDonald's to Judas in betraying the ideals of both art and human spiritual aspiration?

Could you explain a bit more what you need?

If I juxtaposed the US logo of the eye in a pyramid with Picasso's 'Guernica' or something from Bosch or Breughel would that be the sort of thing you are looking for?
