Applenova Trouble

This may not be the best location for this topic, but I am looking to see if anyone here (AppleNova Members) are aware that the domaine for www.applenova.com is in the process of expiring. I am sure that AppleNova's web folks are hard at work and I am wondering of any news.

The site was started by Jack Frost, who passed away this year, and the domain name was registered under his name.

Does any one have any news?

I'm on the phone with GoDaddy now. He'd renewed the account a week or so before he passed away, but apparently his passing kicked the site to expired status.

I just noticed this myself. Hopefully everything gets cleared up soon. I was pretty taken aback when Safari said "can't find server"

Hey, Alcimedes. Thanks for your reply. I got up this morning and got the "Can't find server" and thought it was me. Several tries got me nowhere. Of course, I have the forums hot-linked, not "www.applenova.com". Tried that and went to GoDaddy. Thought, "aw, shit!"

Figured this would be the one place some of you guys would be hangin' out!

Hope you can get it cleared up. Jack's legacy should live on.

After talking with GoDaddy it's going to take a while. Being the 4th of July weekend doesn't help either. Hopefully I'll have everything transferred over within the week, but it could take longer.

That's the spirit! :)

Come for one week-end to make a post saying how much you dislike it here. Classy.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Why do I have to post here? This site stinks! ;) In all seriousness, I can hang out here for awhile. Get to catch up on things. See how everything is going.

I was beginning to think that my incessant visits to the forum had alerted the authorities over here and it was promptly added to the list of "banned" sites.

Thankfully, abb and ut pointed me this way.

Staph - not working this morning? ;)

Are the Australian authorities that bad?!

Good grief. What's next. I bet they let you get porn, just not visit sites where people speak freely!

Here's ( http://www.paulcourt.co.uk/gargoyle/outage_fix.html) a link until we can get the DNS entry problem fixed. I need a death certificate in order to get the site transferred properly, but it's going to take a while to get one.

Well, that was charming. Use the forum you fucked over as a rallying spot when when can't get it together yourselves.

Blow me.
