Memory Performance Decrease....

I just got a PowerMac 9600/350. With a fresh install of 9.2.2 the memory performance was around 40MB/sec (That's normal). After installing carbonlib 1.6, the performance dropped to 30MB/sec. Why, and is there any way to get it back to 40?

Uninstall Carbonlib?
