Pop up ads.

I hate 'em!! Especially when it's a big green ugly thing advertising some cheap crap PeeCee!

Can't get rid of it?? When I'm browsing round the forums the last thing I want is to have to close off a zillion ad windows.

And yeah I appreciate that Monish has to make money somehow.

Sorry 'bout that... shouldn't be happening anymore.

Me too, about the same time. A big fat green one that filled my screen.

I got one yesterday and was wondering why. What's up with them?

I love OmniWeb. I haven't seen a pop-up ad since I started using it. It's got filtering settings for all sorts of great stuff that annoys me!

The ad broker is being contacted about this, because this is clearly unacceptable.

:)

Nick,

Tell them we don't mind the ones with the naked women just not the AMD PC ones.

Cheers,

They're back :(

This is something handled by the ad supplier, not us, and although we filed for removal of popup ads a little while ago, it takes them several weeks to process that ... so they're going away, but unfortunately we'll have to wait a bit longer.

So it goes.
