Digital still camera for under 500?

I recently purchased the Toshiba PDR-M71 from Pagecomputer.com for $341 ($334 plus shipping).

I was dead set on a 2 megapixel Nikon Coolpix 775 until I found a this 3 megapixal from Toshiba for the same price. It has a canon lens and takes spectacular photos.
