LEM Article: Digital Hub Not Finished Yet
Low End Mac just posted a thoughtful article on the Digital Hub. The thrust of the article is that although the individual apps and gadgets are slick, not nearly enough of them talk to each other, or they don't talk to each other transparently enough.
I'm thinking of bringing this to Steve's attention, because it's exactly this kind of spit and polish that makes Apple great.
Thoughts?

You will get no arguements out of me! Hubs are only good if they allow easy connectivity coupled with decent routing options. The Hub IS not complete. Much work to be done.

I agree completly. Just as I expect to be able to select and draw this text from my browser into Word without thinking about the same should be possible for media of all types: If you want to use it there you can unless its completly technical impossible (like importing applications into word documents). Thats what I count as the Macintosh experience: Have you learned what to do in one situation you can do the same in not just similar but also equivalent situations.
