pulsating light not working

you know when you powermac goes to sleep? well the pulsating light never worked on mine until recently, i think after i installed 10.2.4 but now it doesn't work again <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Speaking of the pulsating light, anyone know how to turn it off? (original MDD here). That thing is BRIGHT, and with 2 MDDs in this dorm room (and an HD display) the room is bright in the night (so we have some lame covers over the lights now).

So the light just began working exactly after you installed 10.2.4? How long did it last?

i don't know. it's working mow though. i did recenly sign up for apple extended warrenty and go tech tools deluxe. i ran that. seems to be working now. strange...
