OK, I have a mailbox in "Personal Mailboxes" called "Computers" - I keep ALL my computer related mail in its subfolders.

I wanted to add a new one, "NewtonTalk" for a mailing list I joined.

I highlighted "Computers" and did "create new mailbox."

Named the new one "/NewtonTalk" because I recall that was what you put in with the Public Beta and I hadn't added any mailboxes since then.

I got "NewtonTalk" as a subfolder of "Computers" and I also got "/" as a subfolder of "Computers," I then looked inside "/" and found a second "NewtonTalk."

So, like an idiot [in retrospect] I deleted "/" thinking that it would take out NewtonTalk and be gone.

Problem: It took all of "Computers" with it.

I forced quit Mail after quickly seeing that no undo applied, hoping that maybe the changes wouldn't get updated.

I reopened. Computers showed up YAY! then disappeared ... damn. So I force quit again. Haven't reopened it.

Computers does not show up in Users/Me/Library/Mail/Mailboxes.

Any speedy help would be AWESOME!
