Hopefully someone give me a solution to this problem..

Every Software Update I've performed since iTunes 2.0 (Mac OS X), I get this error after the installation gets to: "Optimizing System Performance".

There were errors installing the software
Please try installing again.

Here''s what I've got:

PowerMac G4 Cube
Mac OS X (10.1)
Mac OS 9.2.1
768MB memory
