The Ashleigh Banfield Hubba Hubba Appreciation Society
:D
Anyone else with me on this?
For those that don't know, she's the "girl with the glasses" reporter for MSNBC. She's on quite a bit these days, reporting the past month or so from Pakistan and is currently in Queens, covering the horrible plane crash there.
Something about her...
Must be those glasses! :p

Hmmm, yeah. She was the one near ground zero when the towers collapsed. She I think was the one who screamed when the first one went down. I jumped to the ceiling when I heard her! I remember seeing her afterwards covered in dust...and again when she was interviewing that mother with her baby when the other building collapsed. She yelled something like; "Hurry! Get away!" to the mother...
Guess she's gotten some points for all the work she has done since. Good for her.

I dunno if I'm with you or not 'cates. I usually have a hard time stomaching MSNBC (the election thing really turned me off), but maybe it's worth a look just to get a glance at Ashleigh. Such an aristocratic spelling too...I bet she's one of those conservative girls who's an animal in the sack...

She looks a tad mannish for me. Too strong of a jaw I think. I do like the eyeglasses (reported to have cost $400) and the ever changing hair color. I think she could dress up a little. Plus the "westerner in scarf" look is a turn on.
I liked that woman on CNN. I can't remember her name. She went on to do talk back live. Not the blonde.
Put Jeanne Moos into a better looking body and I've got a dream girl!

Only nice pic I could find. Also, I think she's married... <img src="graemlins/hmmm.gif" border="0" alt="[Hmmm]" />

Yeah, for some reason, finding pics of her on the Web is next to impossible!
I thought she was more famous/lusted after than that. There's been buzz about her since the whole election thing last year, so I was sure there would be quite a few fan sites of hers with plenty of pics, but I found the pic above at MSNBC, a couple of small, hard-to-appreciate ones at various sites and that was about it.
Lots of google.com hits on her name, but mostly articles and stuff...no photos.
:(
I thought the Internet was the one place you could find pics of almost anyone or anything, no matter how obscure or far-out?
:p
And yeah, she did cut her hair off a bit more and go with a darker color. I still dig it, but this summer she hosted some show on MSNBC about Pearl Harbor and she had the slightly longer, blond-streaked hair and tight khaki pants and a bomber jacket...and it was love at first sight. Or lust, anyway.

I've been waiting for the latest pscates crush! I've thought Ashleigh was sexy for a while in a M.I.L.F. sort of way.
On the subject of good looking news anchors: what's with Paula Zahn (formerly of Fox News, now CNN)-Has anyone else noticed she literaly seems to glow?
Jeff

Thanks, kaboom...I swear I'd never even noticed that before! "Images". Hmm...
The ones I found, however, are the same 3 or 4 I've seen everywhere else. What's this chick's deal? She's posed for exactly four pictures in her career?
:D

"Talk Back Live" ... Susan Rook? She did it before Bobbie Batista, I think.
I'll admit to having a little crush on CNBC's Martha McCallum.
# 10 Re: The Ashleigh Banfield Hubba Hubba Appreciation Society
Yea! Susan Rook. She doesn't do it for me anymore.
Bobbie Batista is a cross eyed freak.
There's no current news woman that I "got to have" of late.

You ever see that <a href=" http://www.nbc.com/Law_&_Order:_Special_Victims_Unit/bios/Stephanie_March.html" target="_blank">DA on Law & Order SVU</a>? Same deal with the glasses. She's just way hot anyways.

The one of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" that floats my boat is <a href=" http://www.nbc.com/Law_&_Order:_Special_Victims_Unit/bios/Mariska_Hargitay.html" target="_blank">her</a>
