I have to play the skeptic here.
Many consumers already have DVD/CD Players. What can Apple do really that hasn't been done before. I hate to doubt Apple because I was totally wrong about the iPod but I'm still having a hard time believing that consumers are going to jump at STB accessing online and local content. If Apple can pull this off...i'm impressed.

'Columbus' was an intentional Apple leak to throw people off the scent of the original iMac project.
This was back in the Robert Morgan/Apple Recon days, when MacWeek was still a magazine, and well before the Great Blackout, if I remember correctly.
