10.2.4 will not recognize USB printer... what can I do?!?!?!?!?!?! desperate NEE
I need to print stuff NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I stupidly installed the update thinking that newer wold be better . . . but now 10.2.4 will NOT recognize my Epson740 USB printer
I have moved the USB connection to all available plugs... through a hub and through either of the two outs
I am using a Dual 500G4
needless to say: AAAAAAAAARGH!!!!

After travail and difficulties qui ettais avec non-paraille (if such a thing can be said)
I figured out what to do:
using the OSX 10.2 install disk, I fixed disk permissions!!!
try it, . . . it works for now . . . .

Pretty much standard advice is to repair permissions after installing any software, especially Mac OS updates.
