Did anyone notice an improvement in DVD Player performance after installing the Quicktime 6.1 update (I have QT Pro)? It may have just been the DVD I was using but after popping in Fight Club and Requiem For A Dream I could have sworn that the image was much crisper, more clear, sharper, and stayed at a constant fps. Dunno if it's just me or if it's because I was watching a different DVD (vs. previously watching Tomb Raider and Monster's Inc. on the computer). Does Quicktime even have anything to do with the DVD Player program? I have a nVidia GeForce 4 MX w/ 64 MB of vram inside a Power Mac G4 933 Mhz Superdrive model if anyone is wondering. I will probably either keep it or sell it in two years when I will likely buy a widescreen iMac if they still have them and I think that specs are good.
